Our Operating Boundaries
To ensure sustainable impact, we define clear limits to our services:
  • Financial Aid: While we do some emergency assistance, there is no long-term support without client engagement in stability steps. Clients sign our Accountability Contract. We use a token economy system that uses a punch card, utilizing incentives and rewards to improve engagement and success tracking.
  • Rental/Utility: No ongoing assistance without an active case management plan.
  • Shelter: We do not operate as an emergency shelter due to lack of funding; we coordinate with partners, provide transportation to nearby shelters and run a Neighbor Exchange Program that connects clients with local temporary options.
  • Professional Roles: We do not replace medical, mental health, or legal professionals. We work closely with partners across these categories to connect clients with quality care.
  • Material Goods: We do not supply unlimited goods; our focus is on sustainable solutions. We do utilize crowdsourcing methods to connect clients with resources like household furniture, specific needs and more.
